Designing tissue/cell type specific LNP (Mechanisms of Tissue/cell Targeting LNP)
Time: 4:15 pm
day: Conference Day One
Details:
- Passive Targeting: Exploits the enhanced permeability and retention (EPR) effect in tumors or inflamed tissues, allowing LNPs to accumulate in these areas
- Active Targeting: Involves the modification of LNPs with ligands (antibodies, peptides, etc.) that specifically bind to receptors on target cells, enhancing uptake by the desired tissue
- Endogenous Targeting: Uses natural tissue-specific transport mechanisms to direct LNPs to specific organs
- Utilising the NanoFlowSizer to perform real-time, inline analysis of particle size and size distribution without the need for sample preparation, allowing for continuous monitoring during our LNP manufacturing process
