LNP Characterization: From pDNA, mRNA & tLNP Purity to In-Process Control

9:30 am - Thursday 19th November 2026

  • A typical tLNP production process involves mixing nucleic acid(s) with selected lipids, attaching a targeting ligand(s), then purifying and formulating the particles
  • When multiple payloads and multiple ligands are used, tLNP formulations typically yield heterogeneous particles containing more than 90% impurities
  • To better understand these processes and support improved (t)LNP design, new analytical methods and systems have been developed. This presentation will introduce 2D LC switcher analytics
  • The reliability of analytical methods, including the impact of surface effects, will also be discussed
